Q Brent O'Neill • 03/20/2020, 6:39:29 PM Are the mounting points flexible enough to mount on other company's Molle panels?
A 03/25/2020, 3:11:33 PM There are lots of mounting options underneath with the extrusion, so you may be able to get creative, but we don't have experience with other peoples panels.
Q David • 03/21/2020, 1:34:19 PM I would like to know the interior dimensions of the shelf and the distance from the roof to the shelf if installed as suggested.
A 03/25/2020, 3:11:33 PM The basket itself is about 47" x 27". Roughly 14” to the headliner on the outside, it's closer to 15" toward the center of the vehicle.
Q James L. • 03/28/2020, 3:52:09 AM What is the distance between molle holes for the screw ? Trying to figure out if it will fit other molle panels.
A 04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM The bottoms of these racks have multiple mounting options because of the extrusion. You will likely have to make your own brackets because of the wide variety of window MOLLEs on the market however.
Q donald • 04/27/2020, 4:10:12 PM i have a rear cargo tray on my 4runner. if i put that cargo basket, will i be able to put my dometic cfx50 in there as well? will it be high enough? thank you.
A 04/27/2020, 4:18:02 PM There is about 22" from the carpeted floor of the 4Runner to the bottom of our basket. The Dometic slide will add about an 1" to that height.
Q Peter • 07/07/2020, 5:33:29 PM Hi. I have rago window molle panel. Does this cargo basket installable with them? Thank you
A 07/13/2020, 5:03:20 PM To our knowledge it is only compatible with our MOLLE panel.

Molle cargo basket
(UT) | June 8th, 2022
I have many Victory 4x4 products. From roof rack, to many molle panels. And just added the cargo basket also. Its sturdy, leaves plenty of space above and below. Install took 15 minutes. Sick little product and holds a ton of my gear. I just ordered the skid plate recently. Keep it up V4x4. Wish i could insert pics. (5th gen 4runner)

Who doesn't love extra storage
(Colorado) | August 25th, 2020
I looked at a handful of other cargo shelves and they only left room below the shelf for actual, decent storage (aka a drawer or fridge system) this one takes care of both needs! I strapped my sleeping bags to the top of it and I have drawers and my entire kitchen system under it. Great quality. Only complaint is that one bolt didnt fit perfectly into the trunk so there was a little bit of rattle but after some tweaking and wd40 its quiet.
Awesome!
(California) | August 15th, 2020
I went back and forth on a few cargo shelf options before deciding to go with the Victory 4x4 shelf. I'm extremely pleased I decided to go with this one. Shipping times are accurate and acceptable (especially compared to some other companies). Fit and finish was very good and I had no issues with anything. Their install videos are helpful and easy to follow on all their products. I keep my loaded up full time and it works great. I'm also using a stretch net to keep everything strapped down and in place. Definitely recommend this product.
Perfect for our Cornavirus Bug Out
(California) | March 26th, 2020
I installed this a couple of weeks ago, but just got to use it when we decided to bug out of urban areas and wait out the virus peak in a more isolated setting. I don’t have a roof rack, yet, and without this rack, there’s no way we could have fit all our essentials, mostly booze, our two cats, and both of us. The height is perfect. Everything we could want fit underneath and the shelf and it let us load lighter and softer things above without creating an unmanageable pile. It’s also quiet. You’d never know it’s back there. Unloaded visibility is also excellent and it’s never been in the way during mundane day to day activities. My only wish is that it were about 4 inches shallower so that the rear seats could still recline a bit. I may modify the shelves to accomplish this, it wouldn’t be hard, thanks to the intelligent use of 80/20 rails and hardware.
Install review
(CA) | March 16th, 2020
This is just a review of the install of this shelf. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Everything is very nicely powder coated and deburred, giving a quality feel. the 1/8" Aluminum is more than strong enough for the job; I wouldn't mind if it were a little thinner to cut down on weight just a bit. The instructions recommend sliding the nuts into the T-Rails first, then putting the screws into them through the panels. I prefer to screw the nuts loosely to the panels and then slide the T-Rail over them, but either works. The threaded holes on the T-Rails where partially filled with powered coat, but nothing that pre-threading the bolts into them before assembling the side couldn't take care of. The holes on the left and right sides of the basket are very tight. One set had a tolerance stack up between the edge T-Rail and the radius on the side piece was too tight. I got it together, but the side piece ended up slightly deforming. Otherwise everything went smoothly. Spare hardware was included, which is very welcome. The basket does prevent the rear seats from reclining. In fact, make sure that the seats are fully upright before you install the rack, otherwise you may not be able to fold the seats back up. Personally, I'd prefer a little less depth on the rack in exchange for a couple more inches of seat recline. Installed it looks great. One last thing, Imperial standard hardware is so 1800's. Grade so far, a solid B+ with a couple of easy fixes that could switch it to a solid A. More after I have a chance to actually use it.
4th gen 4Runner install
(Vancouver WA) | June 10th, 2023
I have had the window molle panels for several months now, and they have come in quite handy. I wanted more storage/organization options, and the basket is perfect for that. The basket itself is great, but 4 stars due to some confusing steps between the install video and pdf instructions. Just installed in my '05 4R, and I have some pointers for anyone else: - The pdf installation instructions do not have the first step for installation in a 4th gen, which is mounting the side brackets to the molle panels. I tried to mount mine to the second row of holes up from the bottom to gain a bit more clearance under the basket, but the mounting points of the basket didn't line up with those of the bracket - the bracket HAS to go on the bottom row of holes. - The pdf install instructions show the brackets going on with the basket platform above the molle-panel bolts holes - like a "7" instead of an "L" - you have to bolt them on like in the install video, as the bracket is not an exact 90* angle and putting them on like the pdf shows does not give you a level surface to mount the basket. - The pdf shows the rectangle brackets on the inside of the basket, while the video shows them on the outside; This does not seem to matter, I put mine on the inside without any issue. - Lastly just a tip: The basket cannot slide in through the rear hatch and then turn to place on the brackets to mount; I tried all kinds of maneuvers and could NOT get it into place. You have to slide the basket into the second row of seats through the back doors, then come up over the seat-backs to place on the brackets. So overall the basket has to come from the front to the back, not the other way around. I hope that helps! Once I got through all of my personal troubleshooting, the basket went right into place and mounted easily, and seems very sturdy.
Note From Victory 4x4: Andy, glad you like the product. Thanks for the installation feedback, we will forward it to the team.
Please note: Install videos are meant to be used as a guide, and aren't always the most up to date information on product installation and improvements.
