Q Carlos • 06/17/2020, 1:08:38 AM My roof top tent weighs 175 pounds. Would I be able to put a roof top tent with these cross bars? And if yes how many of them would I need ? I have 2019 4Runner sr5
A 06/24/2020, 5:36:22 PM That is above the weight capacity of the factory rack.
Q Ginger • 06/22/2020, 10:29:06 AM I can’t find a good picture of the clearance between the crossbars and the roof. We typically carry a cargo box and it has those clamps underneath that are pretty tall until tightened down. Can you provide a picture looking over the tailgate All along the roof with the crossbars installed?
A 06/24/2020, 5:36:22 PM Not much clearance in the middle .75" to 1"
Q Jonathan Dearth • 06/30/2020, 5:58:56 PM Where are the instructions to properly mount these to the vehicle? Mine came with none. Im sure it is fairly straight forward however, there may be something I am not aware of here so instruction sheet would be awesome.
A 07/01/2020, 10:08:43 AM Just added those instructions. They are on the product page.
Q Jeff Steffens • 07/06/2020, 12:20:42 PM I saw one question answered said you have about 1" in the middle of clearance between roof and crossbar. What is the measurement closer to the sides? I have a Yakima surfboard rack and would want to mount that to these crossbars but want to make sure it will clear. Thank you
A 07/07/2020, 2:39:07 PM Closer to 2" of clearance.
Q Rob • 07/07/2020, 10:11:37 PM Is this compatible on the 2020 4runners roof rails? I see some other manufacturers not being compatible with the 2020 4runners.
A 07/15/2020, 1:48:15 PM While there is a part number change in 2019 for the factory rack, we haven't seen any issues on compatibility.

Perfect!

Hard to say more than whats beens said already! This is a great option if you're not ready or dont want to pull the trigger on a aftermarket rack. Strong, easy to install, and easy to modify to your specific needs!
Great Bars
(NJ) | November 3rd, 2022
These bars are great! Super strong and look much better than the factory rails. Have had them for close to two years now and the powder coat has held up great and the fasteners are still shiny new. I got two of these for a few reasons. 1) I live in NJ and prefer to garage my car, especially in the winter. These are low profile and help give me just enough clearance to fit my lifted 4Runner into the garage by an inch or two. A full rack wouldn't be able to fit. 2) I use just a drop on Rola rack when I need it and it bolts right up to these. Easy on and off and I don't have any wind noise or MPG loss from the Rola unless I have to. 3) for how little I use these, I couldn't justify the cost of a full rack. If I ever buy a RTT, I'll still be set. Perfect product for my application!

These rails arrived in great shape and fairly quickly. Super easy install and perfect fitment. Saved a ton of money over a full rack and am happy with the look. Very sturdy and would recommend!
Very robust cross bars that were ridiculously easy to install
(Virginia, USA) | January 9th, 2022
I ordered 3 of these to distribute load on the factory roof rails of a 2020 4Runner. Reviewing these and competing brands, the Victory cross bars looked more robust and well thought out for attaching things and tie down placement. I received the cross bars pretty soon after ordering, considering they had to be made, and the packaging was incredible. The bars were individually wrapped and then immobilized with spray foam, then packed in heavy cardboard boxes. Not even a hint of a scuff when they arrived. Installation hardware is high quality and they were super simple to install. I think it took me under 30 minutes and that was including unboxing, cleaning up afterwards, disposing of the trash and putting my tools away. The cross bars were installed with 2 of them as far apart as I could get them, then the 3rd right between them. There is zero wind noise and I can't perceive any reduction in fuel economy. I had a chance to use them to transport lumber from Home Depot and loaded one side with ten 10-ft long 2x4's that were saturated from rain exposure. Lashed them down with ratchet straps. There was no deflection in the rails and they didn't move either, not even going over railroad tracks. Very pleased - well made and highly effective cross bars that are built way stronger than the roof rails.
Great Roof Rack Crossbars
(Kansas City) | November 28th, 2021
I purchased and installed 4RUNNER ROOF RACK CROSSBAR on my 2011 4RUNNER. I had the factory crossbars already but I think that the Victory crossbars are far better than the factory ones. The Victory crossbars are FLAT as opposed to the Toyota crossbars which are curved. Victory crossbars have multiple attachment holes and slots as opposed to Toyota bars which have none. Victory bars fit closer to the top of the vehicle which makes for a lower-profile installation. Also, I find that the Victory crossbars produce no noticeable noise as compared to the Toyota factory crossbars. I'm completely satisfied with these crossbars and I recommend them highly.
You don’t need the weight of a roof rack.
(Oregon) | November 20th, 2021
For the majority of the items you would want to mount on your roof, tent included, these bars are all you need. If you distribute the weight evenly, you’ll never have a problem, AND, these crossbars will never be your weak link.
if i ran over these with my 4R, i'd probably break my 4R instead.

SOLID. UNIT. Awesome work Victory. Nice mounting holes and evenly placed. This will future-proof my build because I'd prefer this setup with using nuts and bolts to mount stuff, than the sliding T-bolts. If you're looking for a "CHEAPER" route, grab yourself two of these as Toyota recommends two for the 5th-Gen 4R for wind noise. These are by no means cheap in build though, but for the wallet, it's a nicer to you than a Prinsu rack, or other brands. BUT you'd get about the same use and functionality for the price.
Easy Install

This was a super easy install, and the fabrication is top-notch. Good for experts and newbies.
Hella stout!
(Texas) | July 25th, 2021
I wanted a stout set of cross bars for my rtt. These are fantastic. Not much room for a pass through bolt and nut, but the struggle to mount a tent is universal. Thank you for a cross bar that takes all my structural mounting concerns away. Best regards
