Q Hunter Hladek • 04/13/2022, 7:43:18 PM Is this rack compatible with the 23ZERO Peregrine 270 RIGHT HAND MOUNT(US PASSENGER SIDE) AWNING WITH LST?
A 04/27/2022, 12:01:31 PM We'd recommend at least 3 of our awning mounts (VRKAWN2) for that awning, as well as being careful to use ground stakes in heavy wind. A 270-degree awning is quite a bit of load on roof racks.
Q Fer • 04/17/2022, 5:36:29 PM Any suggestions to have a flat surface on top of the rack to set a pair of lawn chairs for event watching?
A 04/27/2022, 12:01:31 PM Nothing really comes to mind that would be light and not have a ton of holes that your chair legs would fall through. Maybe some sort of thin, plastic decking?
Q ron macklin • 04/29/2022, 8:26:42 PM Can you mount the iKamper 2.0 on the full roof rack?
                    A 05/04/2022, 11:31:04 AM Yes
Q Tiffany • 05/23/2022, 7:52:51 AM what are the dimensions of the full rack on a 3rd gen 4runner?
A 05/23/2022, 10:26:08 AM About 88"x44". You can check the end of the installation document for a diagram.
Q Chris • 06/09/2022, 12:38:25 PM I see that there is a black stainless steel hardware kit that can be bought separately. Is the stock hardware for the rack stainless steel? 5th gen full rack.
A 06/09/2022, 4:25:37 PM Included hardware is stainless, yes.
Q Brahn • 07/25/2022, 3:42:34 PM Would a double-row light bar still work with the light bar cutout rack?
A 08/08/2022, 11:23:59 AM It is designed for a single row lightbar. The fairing would likely have to be cut/modified.
Q Matthew Wyngaarde • 10/09/2022, 7:23:18 PM Is it possible to purchase a front LB fairing separate. I have the non cutout, & wondering if the LB cutout is or can be sold separately.

Q Jake Miller • 10/16/2022, 8:47:36 PM Will other brands of light bars fit cut out or only your 40” light bar
A 10/18/2022, 2:54:59 PM Yes: "Cutout fairing designed for 41.25" max lens housing width single row LED light bar. Up to 43.5" (mounting stud width) bar will fit with our mounts, but trimming of the fairing will be required"
Q Jay Michael • 10/23/2022, 4:20:13 PM I’ve already purchased this roof rack but made the mistake of getting it without the light bar cutout is there a way to order the front piece with the light bar cutout?
A 10/27/2022, 10:07:38 AM Sure, just give our sales team a call.
Q Alexander Montalvo • 12/20/2022, 9:25:00 AM I have the roof rack, recently purchased a rooftop tent. You guys said it was universal on mounting. Well the rooftop tent doesn’t fit.

A 02/14/2023, 4:18:03 PM Sorry, there was an error on the product page. Should be fixed.

A 03/13/2023, 12:13:56 PM No, the racks are different.

A 05/08/2023, 4:09:06 PM 2 on the standard rack, 3 on the full length. That is plenty in our experience.
Q Jorge Morales • 05/05/2023, 10:02:23 PM Do you sell or offer the rubber things that go towards the front of the rack? The ones that go in the truck opening. BTW I love your rack and the lights. Such low profile look everyone that comes across it loves the look it provides. GREAT DESIGN!

Q Shau • 05/21/2023, 11:52:13 PM My sunroof hits the crossbar. I've moved the crossbar all the way forward and backward and it stills hit. What did I do wrong?

                    Q Joe • 05/29/2023, 1:56:54 AM does 5th gen roof rack fit 4th gen?
A 06/01/2023, 5:37:12 PM No, it does not, you would want our 4th gen specific rack.
Q Bill • 05/29/2023, 5:01:32 PM Has anyone tried to put a full length 3rd gen onto a second gen with any amount of success? Hahaha…great looking product and there is a need for the other generation 4Runners.
A 06/01/2023, 5:38:02 PM That is not something that we have tried, the 3G rack was specifically designed around the 3rd gen.
Q Kevin • 06/04/2023, 2:32:35 PM What size are the cut-outs of the rear fairing? thank you

Q Matthew lobar • 06/05/2023, 3:04:45 PM I’m wondering does this roof rack (already have it but curious before I spend 3k) fit the OVS mamba hard shell tent and how hard is it to install the tent. Would I need to buy any other parts to attach it? Thank you for taking the time to answering my questions and have a great day!!
A 06/22/2023, 11:46:31 AM Our racks are relatively universal when it comes to mounting tents, you may however need a set of our RTT mounting brackets to securely mount the tent to your rack. https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VRKRTT.html
Q Francis • 08/01/2023, 2:44:40 PM Hi, 3 questions: Do you sell a spare tire bracket that fits the rack and can it be locked againts thieves? Can I strap things on the lateral bars with strap ratchet? Its aluminum. Is it stong enough? Is the shipping free to Canada and how many time to receive it? Is there an express option available? Sorry for my english, I'm french. Thanks!
A 08/04/2023, 11:26:32 AM Yes, we do offer a tire mount that can be used on our roof racks. Yes, you can use straps along the side rails. Please reach out to our Sales team to get a shipping quote into Canada. [email protected]
                    Q cole • 09/06/2023, 11:54:22 PM can i walk on the individual rails? I am 250 pounds
A 10/20/2023, 12:26:13 PM You likely could, however we recommend spreading your weight evenly along 2 or more crossbars.
Q Josh • 11/17/2023, 3:42:18 PM I have a full size rack on my 5th gen 4Runner. Will a Thule force Xt xxl fit and be able to be secured to the rack using their powerclick clamps?
A 11/22/2023, 11:35:40 AM That is not something we have verified. The clamps would fit on the crossbars, however the clearance between the crossbars and the roof may be an issue.
Q David Palacios • 01/17/2024, 7:26:05 AM Hello. What are the shipping dimensions of the boxes where the rack is packed? Weight of each box? Thanks
A 01/19/2024, 10:20:36 AM That would depend on which options you select, shoot us an email at [email protected] and we can help get you those dimensions.
Q JULIUS CAFE • 04/17/2024, 10:22:56 AM how much LBS across the rack can handle? planning to put a Ikamper on it.
A 04/17/2024, 5:36:29 PM Toyota rates the 4Runner roof with a factory rack at "Max load 165 lbs evenly distributed." Our rack itself can handle significantly more weight than that, and we've had 250 lbs dynamic weight on it without issue, static capacity is certainly well above that. All these weight will be at your discretion as they are above Toyota "recommended" capacities. If you need more information please contact us directly at [email protected]

                    Great Addition to any 4runner
                    (Miami, FL) | July 24th, 2023
I bought the full rack w/light cut out for my 2013 4Runner Limited w/sunroof. I literally built the rack (Following to install Video) in my living room, where it sat for ten days due to the non-stop rain. I installed it (Following the install video) on the roof of my 4Runner with my daughter’s help & bolted it down using the supplied hardware & Ultra Black Permatex. It’s was very easy to put together & install, just a little tedious.
                    Excellent Product
                    (IL) | June 2nd, 2023
This rack is great. It took the full 15 days before being shipped. I almost called on day 15. ha. It's been installed and on my 4Runner for a couple of months now. install was easily accomplished on my own, easy to follow. I probably could've used a second set of hands when getting the rack on the 4runner, but its not entirely necessary. Driving around on the highway for work doesn't seem to change road noise or MPG much. Looks great! Definitely get some questions about from others i know with 4runners. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that we started using the rack to carry equipment. We have an SR5 with a third row since we have 4 kids. For the type camping trips we enjoy the roof rack was mandatory. It didn't disappoint for our trail trip up to Wisconsin for some bouldering. So easy to strap equipment down (crash pads, tent, water, duffels, chairs, etc). I decided to put my gear in fully water proofed duffels to keep a lower profile. with the roof rack nearly fully occupied I only needed 4 ratchet straps. So easy to attach to the side rails of the rack and the latch on really tight. Even with the rack loaded up with gear going 70mph we we were still in the 17-18mpg range. I did notice that the black coating can scratch fairly easily so be careful with that. I had some tree trimming/felling equipment up there and quickly learned that I'll need to do a better job of placing some protective cloth down next time. I'll be back for more products as the budget allows. Thinking a ladder is going to be more efficient with this rack. While climbing the side of the vehicle and standing on the edge of the rack gets the job done, a ladder will be helpful, especially since it'll allow for some extra gear to be strapped on the back. Thanks for the quality work!
                    Nice rack
                    (TN) | November 28th, 2022
It’s been awhile since I’ve had the rack on the 4Runner. It has completely changed the looks of the 4Runner. I put it together by myself no problem. Then my wife helped me set it up on the 4Runner easy peasy, several of the threaded holes had paint in them so it took a little longer than it should but still not a big deal. Later on plan on getting a canopy to put on the rack. I didn’t get the light bar cutout. When you get up to 70 is when you can hear the wind noise pretty good. Wish there was an option to add a picture of it to show how good it looks
                    5th gen roof rack
                    (Green Bay, WI) | June 12th, 2022
In my opinion the cleanest and best roof rack for the 5th gen 4Runner! Install was a breeze and victory4x4’s install doc and video was very detailed. I opted for an entry level 40” light bar and it still fit perfectly. I will be purchasing all my products from victory from here on out.

This is a very high quality rack. Only one issue--one end of one of the cross bars wasn't tapped for the assembly screws. No problem for me as I had the tap. Because I had to install the rack by myself, I chose to install the roof brackets first (separately,) and then I assembled the rack components to the brackets. This worked fine, and I was able to ensure an exceptional seal on each bracket to the roof this way with clear silicone. One other point, you must adjust the height of the side rails to ensure that the front and rear fairings will make firm contact with the roof. I had to adjust my rack a couple of times to ensure the proper height for proper roof contact.
                    Good but a little noisy
                    (Chicago) | May 29th, 2022
Originally I purchased a smaller 3/4 rack from n-fab and I really wanted a full size roof rack. I went with victory based on reviews and reading other testimonies that it was a solid rack. I gave it a 4/5 due to two flaws. The front fairing is made of thin (1/4”?) aluminum that vibrates when you drive on the highway. The solution is to put 3m tape on the paint and lower the fairing so that it rides on the roof of your car. Not ideal but it works. Second issue is the front footing sits in the gutters on the truck. The side to side movement cause a scratch to the paint in the rain gutter. But overall the rack is solid. I put a 13’ Kayak on top and it handled it like a champ. I put 16’ 4x4 and it didn’t vibrate or anything. For the price you can not beat this rack. I chose this because it is aluminum and living in Chicago I don’t want the rack to rust.
                    Very nice rack
                    (Indianapolis IN) | January 31st, 2022
Recieved the rack, nicely packaged. Was easy to assemble but takes some time. I ordered the optional black hardware, worth the extra cost. Install was easy, I did by myself by putting some cardboard on the roof to slide the rack on but 2 people would have really helped. The rack fit great, looks awesome and is very well made. I see it lasting as long as the truck.
                    Just what I order

True to description and worth the price. Assembly was simple enough. Hope it lasts!
                    Solid Rack!

I love this thing. Top notch roof rack. Can't wait to put a RTT on this puppy at some point. Solid construction, no vibration, and lightweight. Easy to install as well.
                    Terrible Front Farring
                    (PA) | December 31st, 2021
First want to say, I've bought several Victory 4x4 products for my FJ hands haven't had any issues. So based on my previous experience I purchased the 4Runner 3/4 roof rack. Shipping and install were good. However, once installed, the front wind faring vibrated so terribly that it was rattling against the roof and digging into the paint. This is despite the faring being positioned at its highest position with maximum clearance between the roof and the rack and all the bolts as tight as they will allow. I've never had this issue with my upTop or Expedition One roof racks.
Note From Victory 4x4: Per the instructions, the rubber on the fairing needs to be against the roof to not vibrate. You can use 3M paint protective film or similar between the rubber and paint to stop any damage from dust or dirt.
