This made in the USA bumper features an integrated 20" lightbar mount, 3/4" recovery tabs, plus provisions for many industry-standard winches.The bumper is available in a 2 stage satin textured black powder coat over durable zinc primer finish.
Listed weights are with no tubing; single hoops and prerunner tube work add roughly 10 lbs in steel, 5lbs in aluminum; full grill and light protection tubing adds 30 lbs in steel, 15lbs in aluminum. (Not all tubing options are available on all bumpers.)

The weight for the steel option is listed at 160lbs. Is that correct? It looks like the strike bumpers for other vehicles are around 90-110lbs. What makes this one so much heavier? Can you list out the weight difference between no bars and the full bars?

That weight was for the full grille protection option sorry. The base bumper weighs 130 lbs in steel.

Where were the fog light wires connected to? the cube amber lights? I don't think that was mentioned in the video. Where can I find turn signal lights that fit the provisions on this bumper?

Yes, the fog light harnesses were tied into the cube lights. The turn signal lights are included.

I have a 2021 Lexus GX460. In your video for your strike bumper do the new "cube" fog-lights wire DIRECTLY to the OEM fog-light wiring? If so, which cube-lights do you recommend? And will there be any electrical issues wiring directly to the OEM wires?

We recommend Baja Designs lights. No, no issues. In many cases LED cube lights draw much less power than stock incandescent lamps.

It is aluminum as well. The fully welded winch plate is gusseted and tied into all structural components of the bumper assembly to create a rigid weldment that spans and reinforces both frame mounting points to eliminate bending and twisting.

Yes, if you relocate the solenoid. Although an 8k or 10k is a better fit for the GX and will give you more line speed.

That is a double row light bar, our bumper is designed for single row like the Baja Designs S8, Rigid 20" SR, and similar size.

I'm waiting on this bumper and looking at winch options. I'm leaning toward the Zeon 10-S Platinum. Do I need to relocate the solenoid? Also, does the bumper include provisions for solenoid relocation?

Yes, you will need to relocate the solenoid, but the bumper doesn't have mounting provisions for that since each winch model has its own requirements. The Zeon 10s is a great choice; we have a Warn VR on our shop GX and put the solenoid behind the grille right under the hood latch.

Are there any winches that do not require solenoid relocation to install? Would a Comeup Seal Slim 9.5k work? Any chance you might complete an install doc? It's been years since this bumper came out, and there still aren't written instructions.

We have not tested that winch. In our experience, all winches will require a remote solenoid.

I just installed my strike bumper on my 2020 GX. My two inner parking sensors are alerting as if I'm about to hit something. I believe they're being triggered by the recovery points. Any ideas how to fix this?

Installed aluminum version on 2013 GX460. Quality, fit and looks are good! Instructions are absent so all you have is video. The cut measurements were just the starter and only in the wheel corners was it the right amount. The rest of it had to be trimmed several times while fitting. For 2013 you have to splice into main turn signal wire at the top of lights. The fog light shelf was too low and also the hole seems to be lined up too close to the middle for BD SAE lights. Also wish there was no logo in bar light slot and slots for holding screws should be made at angled or indented from side so that over time BD S8 light would not fall out.
Was able to install Warn Zeon S10 with long relocation kit snug against the power steering line without moving it. Brackets which go over frame are not marked L/R so just make sure the extra hole points outward. That bolt which is provided for the 5/8" hole in bracket is too big so just get a different 1/2" bolt same lenght from a hardware store which will fit in 5/8" drilled hole.

I installed the aluminum Strike bumper over a weekend. The bumper is very well built and fit perfectly, however the only installation instructions you get is a video. I found the video pretty good, but a lot of details are missing. After the installation I found that I had not used about 30% of the hardware that was shipped with the bumper. Tried to call for information, but their call center is only open M-F. Kind of pointless since most do-it-yourselfers do projects over the weekend.

Very nice bumper . The finish was amazing. Install video is very informative. You do need to relocate you power steering cooling line if you use a winch. It’s also much easier with the bumper out of the way. Rent a good transmission jack to aid in your installation.
Very good quality. Did I mention the finish? It is almost perfect.
