Victory 4x4 Tacoma Front Winch Bumper | Blitz | 3rd Gen (16+)
Our Blitz winch bumper for the 3rd Gen Tacoma is designed to integrate with your factory front bumper fascia for a clean look with maximum recovery options. This made in the USA bumper features an integrated 20" lightbar mount, 3/4" recovery tabs, plus provisions for many industry standard winches. Available tubework option includes a bull bar for extra front end protection. A fairlead block off plate is included for those that don't yet have, or need, a winch. The bumper is coated in a 2 stage satin textured black powdercoat over durable zinc primer finish. It requires very minimal cutting so you can easily go back to stock if needed. Only requires cutting the lower valance piece which is covered by stock trim.Listed weights are with no tubing; single hoops and prerunner tube work add roughly 10 lbs in steel, 5lbs in aluminum; full grill and light protection tubing adds 30 lbs in steel, 15lbs in aluminum. (Not all tubing options are available on all bumpers.)

The 3rd gen Taco Blitz is not yet available in aluminum but it's on our short list. You will need to relocate the solenoid box on the 3rd gens.

Three questions:
1. Brian, did you defect from JCR Off-Road to Victory 4x4 or are they related companies>\? I suspect the latter.
2. Are you planning for the aluminum Gen 3 Tacoma version of the Blitz to be winch capable?
3. I may have missed it in the Gen 3 Tacoma Blitz install video, did you determine the weight of the OEM hardware removed in order to provide a basis to calculate the net weight of the installed Blitz (with tube work). I ask to help set up the preload offset adjustment on the new front coil/struts to accommodate the Blitz / Warn VR 10-S winch combo.
BTW, your videos are terrific!

1) Victory 4x4 and JCR are sister companies, Brian is still with both :) 2) This is on the list in aluminum, but we don't have an ETA. 3) Sorry we didn't weigh the factory parts, but even with the steel bumper you shouldn't have to adjust pre-load based on the bumper alone.

No, they will not work together. You may be able to bolt a "Step Bumper Receiver" on the bottom of the bumper though. You'd just have to drill and work around the winch if installed.

Is the aluminum bumper any lighter than the steal? Also will this bumper fit the Warn VR EVO 10-S WINCH or the Warn ZEON 10-S WINCH? Please elaborate if solenoid packs need to be relocated.

The aluminum bumper is half the weight. Without modifying the truck, both winches will need remote solenoid packs. If you modify one grill support bracket slightly by cutting it or bending it out of the way either winch can be squeezed in with integrated solenoids.

It will work with the Factor 55. The Warn 9.0RC will fit, you may or may not have to relocate the solenoid.
Yes, the tube work could interfere with the TSS. We would recommend going with no tube work for TSS.

You would either need to relocate the sednoid box, or bend/cut the factory bumper/grille support bracket directly above the winch. On our shop Tacoma we bent about .75" of this bracket over and the winch fit fine.

Do you know by how much/if this changes the approach angle of an OEM truck? Also, I know you don't recommend any tubework for trucks with the front radar system in the grill, but, hypothetically, if someone were to get one with a tube, do you suspect it would actually interfere with the sensor that is inches above and away from the bar?

It changes the approach angle very little. With the pro grille we haven't gotten any errors with the tube on the shop truck, but that doesn't mean it's safe in all situations.

The mounts measure about 22" apart. The lightbar will be narrower than the light opening and the hardware will likely be too narrow to reach the mounts.

It is difficult to tell the difference from the outside. You are able to tell from the backside of the bumper as the steel will be 3/16" vs. 1/4" on the aluminum.

That is not something we have tried. This bumper doesn't alter the factory crush points in the frame, so that is a concern for using it to push anything.

Bought the unfinished bumper. The workmanship was 5 stars, no doubt. Welds, cutouts, everything about it was excellent. Watching their install vid I was missing three bolts that connect the oil cooler relocation/where you attach cowl to bottom of bumper. Also I had two bolts/nuts I have know idea what they went to. Not a big deal as I have a back up rig to drive. If not this might have been a one star review as my wife was out of town, I live in the country, and we don't know a lot of people here.

I bought this based on a friend’s recommendation. Overall it looks beefy, good quality steel and welds.
My issues:
1. Missing several bolts so I had to source locally
2. Bottom mounts were damaged in shipping since it was not packaged well in those areas
3. The powder coating seems thin. I have several scuffs/bare spots just from installation and I was VERY delicate throughout. I am wary of long term how it will hold up.
Overall, not sure if I would re-buy again. Looks good, good customer support, priced well. However as stated above, I am a little leery of long term durability of the powder coating.

The bumper fits great and looks great. The only issue I have is my kit did not come with the relocation brackets so the winch I planned to install is still sitting in my garage. Hopefully they can send them out asap so I can reinstall with the winch.
