Will this transfer case skid install with good fitment with a 12ga cat shield and transmission covering plate on a 3rd gen 3.5L 4x4 Tacoma manual trans or would there be incompatibility or modifications needed?

Looks like they would not be compatible as they would mount in the same location.

Fit my 07 tacoma perfect. I like that it came with the additional plate, I'd like to reroute my exhaust ine day.

I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD Offroad 4X4. I installed following the video. Everything did line up as specified. However, my exhaust literally rested on the skid plate. Obviously I can't have that so I took it off and just kept it. It can't be returned. The Victory 4X4 guys want me to reinstall it and take pics before they will consider anything. I don't have the time so I am pretty much out over 300.00 +. I like these guys products and love my rook rack and other skids but if my bran new 2019 Tacoma's exhaust hit the transfer case plate, then I think more engineering needs to be created. Just think about it before you buy, its a very large expense that basically is now in my backyard just sitting there. Prefab will most likely be needed if I want to actually use this monster plate.
Note From Victory 4x4: Sorry to hear about the exhuast hitting and the hassles. Our techs likely need to see what is hitting so we can offer a solution. We do have an assortment of spacers and things we can use for exhuast clearance on these trucks. On our 3rd gen with an aftermarket exhuast we use a couple small spacers as well, but the majority of the time these fit without any modification.
