No, you can use molle attachments, velcro straps, gear ties, Quick-Fist clamps, etc.

Our molles will accept and 1.5" belt clip holsters, regardless of brand.

Installed these yesterday. Super functional and sturdy. Storage is lacking on my 24 Colorado and these will free up some room. Look great and definitely make a great spot to store a “banana” holster.
