Q Brandon • 03/30/2020, 0:29:10 AM What is the best way to install a 48" hi-lift jack on a 2019 tacoma longbed? Just installed the panels and the hilift jack wont fit in between the wheel well and toneau cover. I tried to flip it around but now the heaviest part of the life isn't able to be secured with the long bolts.
A 04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM There is a photo of jack mounted on this product page. If that won't work with your cover you can either remove the handle and install it lower, or replace the bolts with longer ones to be able to flip the jack. If you are still having trouble please contact us at [email protected]
Q Adam Scarbro • 04/01/2020, 7:52:27 PM Hi, in the video you said the panels will work with tonneau covers. I was curious if it would work with the Bakflip MX4 since it requires the bed rail to be lowered.
A 04/06/2020, 2:43:37 PM These will not work with lowered rails without modification.
Q Bryan • 04/11/2020, 11:56:35 PM I have a Paragon Cover, which uses the existing rail system holes (needed to remove the existing rail system), was wondering if this would still be compatible with the cover or will it shorten the width of the bed; making it too tight of a squeeze to use both the Paragon cover with this accessory? (I'm trying to find an alternative way to mount my 3 Gallon Rotopax I have below the bed line cover, that doesn't require the rail system to tap into since it needed to be remove for the retractable Paragon rail system)
A 04/17/2020, 7:10:31 PM We have not installed our MOLLE panels with that cover, but from the looks of their install instructions, our panels would not be compatible under our recommended install. We aren't sure if there is a way you could modify the brackets to work or not.
Q Lawrence • 04/19/2020, 5:21:03 PM I have a Gator EFX Hard Fold Tonneau Cover. Will this work with my cover, since it does use the existing rack system.
A 04/20/2020, 3:13:59 PM Should work fine with that cover.
Q Anthony • 05/12/2020, 10:11:18 AM Will these work with an Extang Trifecta 2.0 cover?
A 05/15/2020, 1:52:09 PM Yes
Q Trey • 07/25/2020, 2:33:15 PM Will these work with an UnderCover Flex Trifold bed cover?
A 08/05/2020, 11:01:24 AM We have not tested with that bedcover, but we designed these to be as unobtrusive as possible for other things that use the bed rails.
Q Steve Jackson • 08/01/2020, 11:00:22 PM will this work with the 2020 tacoma bed lighting kit PT85735200?
A 08/05/2020, 11:51:45 AM No it will not.
Q David • 08/03/2020, 4:59:18 PM Hi, I was wondering if this would be compatible with the Retrax One XR tonneau cover?
A 08/05/2020, 12:21:56 PM We have not tested with that bedcover, but we designed these to be as unobtrusive as possible for other things that use the bed rails.
Q Matt • 08/22/2020, 9:26:17 PM Can traction boards fit on the side panel or will they only fit at the front of the bed?
A 08/26/2020, 10:01:29 AM Not enough room on the side panels.
Q Trevor • 10/18/2020, 4:27:50 PM I don’t believe it says anywhere what bed length this works with?
A 10/20/2020, 7:03:20 PM It is compatible with both bed lengths.
Q Stephen • 11/01/2020, 12:07:41 PM Can you mount a backing plate for a Rotopax mount?
A 11/03/2020, 4:03:33 PM Rotopax cans don't fit well on the side panels (not much room on the bedsides,) we recommend the front panel for them.
Q Jack • 01/04/2021, 7:00:39 PM Why is the panel installed behind the rail at 6:30 and in front of the rail at 7:20? It also looks like the brackets were not used at 7:20. Why is this?
A 01/05/2021, 10:50:14 AM The beginning and end of the video show an older version of the panel. The new version uses the brackets to mount behind the bed rail to leave it available for other accessories.
Q Adam • 02/16/2021, 6:41:23 PM Do you sell a mount/bracket that would allow me to attach a kinetic rope to this molle panel? I thought there was a product picture showing a snatch strap attached to the panel, but I don't see that anymore.
A 02/22/2021, 9:28:47 AM We usually attach them with Velcro MOLLE straps or Gear Ties. Either will work great.
Q Ansley • 03/29/2021, 10:47:18 PM Will the side Molle for the truck bed on 2021 Tacoma short bed have the cut out on the molle for the stock bed lights to still show?
A 04/02/2021, 1:17:54 PM Yes, they will be as shown in the photos on this product page.
Q Darren Mcguirk • 06/11/2021, 6:02:10 AM Will the side panel fit driver’s side long box with out cubby on a 3rd gen taco?
A 06/11/2021, 3:00:33 PM Yes it will.
Q Andre Maandig • 10/10/2021, 12:21:00 PM Will this fit with the OEM soft tonneau cover?
A 10/18/2021, 11:08:18 AM Yes it will
Q Jon • 11/19/2021, 6:03:04 PM Does this molle panel fit Rotopax mounts?
A 12/09/2021, 1:15:36 PM There is no Rotopax mount pattern built into the panel.
Q Ian • 01/11/2022, 5:22:39 PM I am also wondering if this is compatible with the Retrax One XR tonneau cover. I'm not worried about the rails since your system mounts behind them, but the rolling cover has a canister that takes up the first 12 in of the front of the bed. I have a Tacoma with a short bed (ie. bed length is about 4' with the canister for the cover). Will the hi-lift extension be too long? if so, can the overall length of the system be shortened somehow? Can it be installed or purchased without the hi-lift extension? Thanks!
A 01/12/2022, 10:43:26 AM We have not tested with that cover, but you can leave the front portion of the MOLLE panel off when you do the installation for additional clearance.
Q Jose • 01/15/2022, 4:43:53 PM In the installation video u swap from long bed to short bed and on the short bed it shows installing under the track, but on the long bed it shows installing on the track so the bed rail cleats would be able to slide. Which one is the correct video foe this panels. Also is it only 1 panel or 2 for this price and lastly do you make one for a long bed so I can attach items all the way at the end ?
A 01/17/2022, 10:57:18 AM The production model will mount behind the bed rail. This allows you to still use bed rail accessories after the panel is installed. There is not a long bed specific panel, and they are sold individually.
Q Jonathan • 01/21/2022, 5:55:22 PM Is this a pair of Molle panels (driver and passenger side)? Or is this for just 1 panel?
A 01/24/2022, 1:43:42 PM They are sold individually.
Q Zach • 05/23/2022, 3:45:56 PM What is your recommendation for 2021 Tacomas that don't have the storage box on the driverside of the bed? Would user-installed rivets work to mount the lower portion of the panel? Thanks.
A 05/25/2022, 3:02:12 PM We recommend drilling through. You can reach your hand up in the beside and easily put a washer and nut on the backside of the bed.

Write a Product Review: Tacoma Bed Side MOLLE & Accessory Storage Panel | 2nd & 3rd Gen (05+)
Joseph Cork (Dickinson Texas) | September 20th, 2020
I really love the look and fitment of this product. Really easy to install and very functional. My only complaint and it's not about the product itself but about whoever you have powder coating these pieces. They aren't very thorough with coating the product. I haven't had my panel very long and it's already showing rust spots in a few places.
