Q Justin • 04/09/2020, 1:39:58 PM What is the weight capacity of each rail?

Q JIM GREGORY • 04/14/2020, 2:24:16 PM What is the load rating for one crossbar? Do you have the max load rating of 4Runner factory rails?
A 04/17/2020, 6:35:02 PM Toyota rates the factory roof rails at "Max load 165 lbs evenly distributed." We would recommend at least two of our crossbars at that weight.
Q MJ • 04/15/2020, 2:51:56 PM Hi! Could two of the crossbars be used to mount Maxtrax boards with four of their Mounting Pins? Just wanting to verify that the slot/hole spacing would be adequate left/right. Thanks.
A 04/17/2020, 7:31:50 PM The hole spacing will not work for the pins as-is. You could always modify the rails for them to fit however.

I got 3 bars. Easy install, absolutely no road noises, very solid build quality, and perfect predrilled hole placements. Holds my Weboost OTR with antenna mount perfectly and solidly. Absolutely no flex where the mount bolts to the cross bar. Exactly what I needed.

First off, I received my bars as described during the order process and well packaged! Thank you. The bars installed perfectly to the factory rails (2019 4runner trd off road) with the included hardware. The bars are approximately 1/4" above the factory rails. Materials and finish are first rate. Without question these crossbars are as strong as you could need (they are built very stout with quality material and design). I would venture that the factory rack will fail long before these crossbars. Great product for those not wanting a full new rack and wish to use existing oem rails. Also the rails have points that can be used for attaching hardware and the rail is u shaped so standard ratchet strap hooks should work perfectly. Great purchase, solid equipment. For reference I have use oem racks, yakima, and thule in the past. These crossbars make the oem rack a big step above any of the racks I've used in the past. Nice work.

I ended up purchasing these and it basically converts your factory roof rack to an aftermarket rack. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to beef their stock rack up.

I realize you may not be able to publish any guaranteed weight tolerance for these rails for liability reasons, but I see you have a tent mounted. How much weight does it appear to take? Two adults maybe? These seem a lot better than the factory rails I have now.

Will these crossbars clear the sharkfin antenna on my 2016 4runner with a rooftop tent on them?
Note From Victory 4x4: Depending on the tent you may have to space it up. Ours at the shop (FreeSprit) clear just fine.
Jake Hoover (North Carolina) | December 13th, 2019
These crossbars are extremely well made, they go on easily and are much stronger the the roof bars themselves so if the toyota bars can hold it, don't worry about the crossbars. I haven't noticed any wind noise.
Note From Victory 4x4: Thanks for the review!
