So you mount stuff to the item? It's not a 'pocket' of any kind where you can throw stuff between it and the window right? Does it come with stuff to latch items? If not, what do most guys use?

They are not designed to be a pocket, no. You could use Velcro straps, Nite Ize gear ties, or similar to mount things.

The 3rd row seat option has different interior panels, so not without modification. We have not done this install at the shop, so we aren't sure how extensive those mods to your interior would be.

It allows for use of the cargo net but not the cargo cover. It uses the same mounting location as the cargo cover.

The distance between the round holes is 4.25" horizontally, and 3.5" vertically. The rectangles are 1.5" x 1.125" on a 2.125" x 1.75" grid.

That blue strap has been discontinued from the manufacturer, but MAC's Tie-downs has a blue recovery strap. It's attached with generic velcro straps.

First thing first: It mounted solidly with no wobble or rattle on-road or off and it has lots of room for many things. It is more useful than I expected. I put things like a small hatchet, my IFAK, my headlamp, and an extra multi-tool on there. The very first time out after a big snowstorm I had to grab the hatchet, which I could easily do without raising the back hatch. Very useful.

The “nut-cert” and drill hole assembly is junk. It rattles so bad that I pulled over, ripped it out of my 4Runner and threw it out.

I bought 1 molle panel for my driver's side rear window. It was SUPER easy to install, only took a few minutes. Super convenient as a storage option for safety/recovery equipment. Seems sturdy and well made. Highly recommend.

These things are amazing and solid. You need a flexible mounting option, but I have found that Voile Straps are ideal. You can also mount using a cordura or nylon MOLLE interface. Your stuff is accessible, totally out of the way and does not impede the rear view in any way. These are easy to install and take up no otherwise useable space or useable windows.

If you have only 2 molle straps it works great but once you add a third or 4th you are really struggling to get the straps lined up and 5 is pretty much impossible. It’s a solid product, no road noise except a little squeak when off-road and it’s rocking around a lot but that’s expected. It is however incredibly easy to install and if I had to install them again I could do both in a half hour. If I had to buy them again I might go with a different brand but I might run into the same issue there too.

Bought a pair of these for my 4th Gen T4R, and they're very useful for keeping gear organized and accessible. Installation (and mounting quick fists onto the panels) was a little tricky because getting a handle on tools in the gap between the panel and window gets tricky; providing some square holes at the intersection points would enable the use of carriage bolts, which would simplify some aspects.
I still haven't figured out what to do with either of the bottle openers that came with the set though since they only seem to fit for mounting at the top middle of the panel, which would put the gear in the way of getting a bottle on there. Maybe I'll see if one will mount to the back my rear bumper swing-out without scraping on the tail gate.
