So you mount stuff to the item? It's not a 'pocket' of any kind where you can throw stuff between it and the window right? Does it come with stuff to latch items? If not, what do most guys use?

They are not designed to be a pocket, no. You could use Velcro straps, Nite Ize gear ties, or similar to mount things.

The 3rd row seat option has different interior panels, so not without modification. We have not done this install at the shop, so we aren't sure how extensive those mods to your interior would be.

It allows for use of the cargo net but not the cargo cover. It uses the same mounting location as the cargo cover.

The distance between the round holes is 4.25" horizontally, and 3.5" vertically. The rectangles are 1.5" x 1.125" on a 2.125" x 1.75" grid.

That blue strap has been discontinued from the manufacturer, but MAC's Tie-downs has a blue recovery strap. It's attached with generic velcro straps.

Excellent, sturdy panels. Fairly easy to install but be prepared for some minor adjustments as they go in, especially on the passenger side. I keep plenty of heavy stuff on it at all times without rattles or sagging... hatchet, bear spray, fire extinguisher, large medic bag, magnetic paper towel holder, and two magnetic lights with additional room to spare.
There’s even room behind to slide in reflectix cutouts I use when sleeping in the back on my drawers/sleeping platform.

I bought the Victory 4x4 roof rack for my 4Runner last summer and I was very happy with the product so I figured I would give this a shot too. It was a pretty easy install and I was happy to find out it really doesn't rattle that I have noticed. I have a few molle bags mounted along with my hatchet. I mounted this one on the driver's side. I will have to pick one up for the passenger side seeing I am happy with the results.

Working backwards... Happy with the product. It works great to get my fishing gear up off the floor. My 4Runner is more organized and just looks better. Only complaint about the product is that the grids are too thick. Would be helpful if some of them were narrower for smaller bungee hooks.
The installation was brutal. Instructions for the 4th gen are non existent, other than the video. Thank God for the video. And to make it that extra level of challenging that I'm always looking for in DIY projects, the hardware package included hardware that I didn't need need, apparently to throw me off the scent (thanks for the extra bolts and brackets). The included spacers were each too long, but not clearly too long so I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong before deciding it wasn't my fault. One hacksaw later, the spacers fit and everything was installed. Looks great pleased with the result, but it definitely didn't need to be that hard. Spend 15 minutes fixing the instructions and making sure the hardware package is right, and you'll have a much happier buyer.

I have all of the items I'm constantly reaching for on my window rack. A while ago I had come across a car accident and a small brush fire had started. I had to dig out my extinguisher from the wheel well storage, which was frustrating when I needed it quickly. Now it's easily accessible with a quick release on the rack so there's no wasted time for the next incident an extinguisher is needed. Installation was quick and easy on my 5th gen 4runner, and the rack has been rock solid ever since.

Great quality, I installed today and already love it. The instructions are terrible though for a 4th generation 4runner. Probably fine but you kind of have to feel it out. The brackets are not as clean and tight to the car as I would like but really not a big deal. I plan to order more stuff from victory. I'm very happy with the product.
