PSA: If you have done the frame corrosion prevention coating recall, there are now several more plugs to remove and work around when installing, there also is the corrosion prevention compound to deal with; you'll need to prepare to get messy.

Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe I just don't understand, but if these only go under the cab portion of the truck, what does the length of the bed matter?
A
08/12/2021, 3:19:20 PM
The frames are different between bed lengths. Also the long bed sliders do extend past the cab.

A

They are steel.
Q
Ethan • 10/01/2022, 11:33:00 PM
Are these HREW or DOM steel? Bolt on mounting? Think there is a price discrepancy for long bed, says +50, but adds 150 to overall when selected...
A
10/11/2022, 4:41:02 PM
They are HREW, mostly bolt-on with one hole drilled per side under the frame. Sorry about the dropdown menu price error, it has been fixed.
Q

Hi will the double cab sliders fit an access cab? A lot of people on the Toyota forums say that DCSB and access cab sliders are usually interchangeable
A
11/03/2022, 12:22:43 PM
Ours will fit both, but we keep the part numbers separated to make it more clear what is being ordered.

Installed these by myself similar to the instructional video which was very thorough and extremely helpful showing the install step by step. They were entirely to spec and bolted on with no issues with alignment and very little hassle aside from balancing it on my jack lift. I did the complete install by drilling the 4 holes on the bottom and that was very straight forward and the hardware kit included bolts, nuts, and washers for everything. The only downside was waiting several months for them to be fabricated and delivered but they were flawless when delivered with no scratches, nicks, or tool marks on any exterior surface.

Excellent Sliders , great people to deal with. Living some what I picked up my sliders. They gave me a tour of the facility.which was really cool! They do everything in house. That way they can totally control everything.definitely wort the purchase!!!! 5 Stars!!!!!

Installed these rock sliders last year and figured they deserve a review finally! The installation was pretty easy with a second person helping me, though there are a few spots (like reaching inside the frame to attach nuts) that were a real pain. I have pretty small hands and I really don't know how it would be possible for anyone with larger hands than me. That said, once they are installed they are incredibly solid and heavy duty, and I've already smacked them off of rocks a few times with no problems. I didn't get them powder coated though and just painted them myself, and there are a few small spots of rust already. I'd probably recommend ordering them powder coated or doing it yourself instead of just painting. That extra protection would be worth it.

These are beefy sliders that are constructed very well and look great on the truck. The powder coat is awesome, I love that they are bolt on but still extremely sturdy, and I also like the integrated steps. The install for the drivers side was a pain, but if you start with that side you'll be pleasantly surprised when you do the passenger side! Very happy with the product.

After looking at all the rock sliders in the market, I went with these Victory Strike Rock Sliders. Boy!! I am so happy with the product they produced. The welds are great, the powdercoat came out beautiful. The look after installation, looks amazing on the truck. The install was not very easy, but well worth the time. The online video was very helpful. I watched it a couple of times before I tackled it myself. Thanks for packaging all the parts so well. I was worried because it was a big pallet to ship a long ways. But it came through perfect.

After looking around I went for these sliders due to the fact that I didnt have to weld or do any major alterations to my truck. These are solid. A lot heavier than I thought. Installation took longer than expected. It would be helpful if there was a written installation with pictures. Since mine was for the longbed, the installation was slightly different and the mounting locations in the video(for the shortbed) didnt match. I also had to drill out the frame rail to get a few of the bolts to line up. However, once installed they are super solid so I'm sure they will hold up nicely to any mall parking lot that New Jersey could offer.

I looked all around for sliders to put on my Tacoma. I wanted them to be well designed, all about function. I appreciate that Victory 4x4 went all in and included the additional support to the frame even though it can be a pain in the butt to get the nut seated on the bolt. My son and I got both sides installed in a few hours, small nimble fingers help :) Delivery was also quicker that I had anticipated. The design of these sliders also make them great steps for small 5 year old feet, another big plus. Yes, I paid a grip for shipping to the west coast but they were worth it.

These are some pretty serious sliders. I feel confident knowing my rocker panels/ doors will be better protected with these sliders, they've taken a beating and have stood up well, even with the powder coat. I love that they have a step area and aren't just tubing. They do run a bit heavy. But feel sturdy, look forward to further testing durability.
