Q
Gavin • 03/25/2020, 8:57:43 PM
Whats the Steel vs Alum weight and when will you offer a discount on this like you did on the 4th gen bumpers?
A
04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM
Aluminum is usually half the weight of steel. Please contact us at [email protected] for any current discounts.
Q
RedRunnerTRD • 03/27/2020, 8:33:49 PM
Will this bumper with the tubework fit on a 2020 TRD ORP with the new Toyota Safety Sense Pre-Collision System?
A
04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM
We do not recommend running tubework of any kind with the front radar systems.
Q
Jessica Sanchez • 04/14/2020, 10:15:41 PM
I had a question about the tubework. Will it be the same as the work in the photos? If so that won't cause interference with the radar system with how high up it goes, it would basically go around the sensor.
A
04/17/2020, 6:53:08 PM
The tube work is as pictured. The problem is we don't know the viewing angle of the radar, and Toyota does not release that information. Because of liability, we cannot 100% be confident that the tube won't obstruct the radar's view in all situations.
Q
Jessica • 04/17/2020, 2:48:49 PM
I am wondering if the bumper can handle a 10K SmittyBuilt winch with snatch blocks?
A
04/17/2020, 6:38:01 PM
Yes.
Q
Pete • 05/13/2020, 12:49:29 PM
Will the strike bumper install on a Limited?
A
05/15/2020, 1:52:09 PM
While the bumper will certainly mount to the frame on a limited, we have not done an install to see what the trimmed limited bumper would look like or what the cut lines are. We doubt it would look as clean as the non-limited install.
Q
Zach • 05/19/2020, 3:17:02 AM
Is it possible to get a bumper without the light bar cutout and with provisions for mounting oem style fog lights, i already have morimoto fogs that i quite like. And i noticed it said 10k winches what about 12k?
A
05/19/2020, 2:35:51 PM
We only offer this product as shown. As long as the 12k winch is the same size as the 10k (which is often the case) it will fit fine.
Q
Brent • 07/31/2020, 1:48:52 PM
The fairlead opening is at an angle on the Strike bumper. Is there an issue with synthetic line rubbing against the opening, causing fraying? If so, what would you recommend to prevent that?
A
08/05/2020, 11:01:24 AM
We have not had any issues. Make sure to use a fairlead with a large radius. Like the WARN epic fairleads for instance.
Q
Zac • 10/25/2020, 2:34:24 PM
When will you guys be releasing a plate or cover for the washer tank on the 5th Gen T4Rs for the Strike bumpers? Also, when will the PDF for install be available for said bumper for a 5th Gen 2018? Thanks for your time.
A
10/26/2020, 5:00:50 PM
PDF install document is coming soon. No current plans for the washer tank.
Q
JW • 12/01/2020, 11:27:25 AM
The video said the lightbar blackout plate was an option, I dont see that anywhere, does it come with the kit automatically?
A
12/04/2020, 8:52:18 AM
The winch block-off plate will come with the bumper. We have a perforated panel available to install instead of a lightbar.

Will the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro's foglights work with this bumper?
A
03/01/2021, 3:13:17 PM
You may need to flip the mounting brackets and add some spacers between the lights and the bumper mounts.
Q
Kevin • 02/28/2021, 1:02:19 AM
Can you please provide 2-3 examples/suggestions of 20 inch light bars that are compatible with this bumper?
A

Baja Designs S8 20", Rigid Industries SR Series 20", or many clones of those two. Max mounting width of 22".
Q
Kevin • 03/27/2021, 1:44:25 PM
There is mention of a skid plate in the making for the coolant bottle within the video. Did this ever complete? I just finished the install on this bumper and would like to get that skid.
A
04/02/2021, 1:17:54 PM
We have nothing for that at this time.
Q
Andrew olyaei • 03/31/2021, 9:27:16 PM

A
04/02/2021, 1:17:54 PM
We like the Warn VR EVO in either 8 or 10k
Q

Q
Kelli • 04/21/2021, 7:13:22 PM
I have a 2020 TRD-OR with a 2.5” bilstien lift. The UCAs are stock. I know the steel bumper is about 110lbs with the hoops; can my suspension system handle that? Planning on getting the rear Strike bumper in steel from you as well so just want to make sure the weight of it all won’t be too much. Thanks!
A
04/28/2021, 5:52:40 PM
Yes, your suspension can handle it. If you add a winch you may want to change the spring rate in your Bilstein's to keep the same amount of lift.
Q
CJ • 05/04/2021, 9:53:23 AM
Will the 20" Slim Single Row LED bar from Cali Raised LED fit this bumper?
A
05/05/2021, 1:19:38 PM
Based on the measurements it should fit, but may need some spacers as it's slightly shorter than our mounting tab width.
Q
Vlad • 09/07/2021, 2:08:51 PM
Is this bumper designed to survive an impact with a deer?
A
09/23/2021, 1:26:44 PM
It wasn't designed with that in mind, but it will fare much better than the factory bumper in that situation.
Q
Jake • 10/19/2021, 10:11:16 AM
With the full bull bar will that obstruct the tss on my 2020 sr5? It doesn’t look like it will. Rather be safe than sorry though
A
10/28/2021, 11:56:03 AM
The full height bar should be totally out of the way of the TSS. We obviously can't test every situation like Toyota does, however.
Q
Harrison Field • 11/06/2021, 2:03:06 AM
Does it come with the 20” light bar like it says or am i missing something?
A
11/08/2021, 10:22:41 AM
There are mounting provisions for a 20" single row lightbar, but a lightbar is not included.
Q
Jon Maestas • 11/18/2021, 2:00:18 PM

I have a 2020 Venture model 4Runner. Will this bumper work with warn Zein platinum 10ks
A
02/14/2022, 3:29:50 PM
Yes, it will. You may have to adjust the cooling line, as shown in the install video and document to make enough clearance.
Q
Daysen Fowler • 03/02/2022, 10:20:22 PM
Just to ease my paranoia, this will fit on a 2013 SR5 right? I know it wasn’t available before for certain years. Just wanting to make sure it’ll fit before I spend 2k on this amazing bumper.
A
03/04/2022, 1:39:00 PM
Yes it will! Check out the install video. We have a specific cut line/measurements for the 2010-2013 models.
Q
Megan Sheely • 03/04/2022, 2:57:44 PM
Does this come with the tubes that don't go over the headlights? but the tubes that are smaller?
A
03/11/2022, 4:11:21 PM

Q
John Bakker • 03/13/2022, 6:46:41 PM
for the 2010 - 2013 models, we cut away our front turn signals(and DRL function) as well as fogs. i see 3x3 fog can be mounted but what are our options for DRL and turn signals for the early 5th gens?
A
03/16/2022, 12:09:41 PM
We include turn signals that can be wired as a marker and turn signal.
Q
Sean P • 03/18/2022, 11:25:52 AM
Are there any issues with this bumper interfering with sensors, cameras or the factory skid plate on the 2022 TRD Pro.
A
03/22/2022, 9:28:03 AM
The bumper sits below the TSS sensor and front camera, so there is no issue there. It will work with the TRD front skid as well.
Q
Victor • 11/23/2022, 9:49:10 PM
would this fit on 2013 sr5 4runner if turn signal and fog light right next to each other ,since there's no cut out for the turn signal?
A
12/01/2022, 10:54:56 AM
This bumper includes LED turn signals. Please see the amber LEDs in the wings in the photos of the silver 4runner in the photos.
Q
David • 12/10/2022, 11:01:05 PM
I see in the pics that Baja designs lights can be used for fog lights. Any suggestions on wiring these lights to the oem fog light harness? I just want my fogs to operate like factory without additional switches. Can the factory harness handle those lights as far as amps and such
A
12/13/2022, 3:06:31 PM
Yes, the LEDs typically draw similar or less amperage than factory fog lights. The easiest way to install them is to cut the factory fog connector and install the new connector that Baja Designs provides. If you didn't want to cut the factory plug of, you may be able to find a pigtail you can connect to the factory plug first, but we haven't tested anything specifically. At the shop, we typically cut off the factory plug.
Q
Brandon • 12/16/2022, 10:32:53 PM
Is the issue with the 14+ limiteds a mounting issue or a trim issue? Is there a plan to make a version for 14+ Limiteds if it's a mounting issue?
A
12/20/2022, 2:28:33 PM
It's a plastic bumper cover issue only. They mount the exact same underneath.
Q
Victor • 01/01/2023, 3:37:02 PM
is there spot where you mount the license plate or do you have to relocate it?
A
01/03/2023, 11:23:09 AM
You can use our Fairlead License Plate Bracket, UNI-FPF-PC!
Q
carson • 01/25/2023, 1:20:43 AM
is there anyway this would fit my 14 limited model?
A
01/30/2023, 4:39:19 PM
You would have to either replace your limited front bumper cover with a standard one before starting the install or see if you could trim your limited front bumper cover in a way that works with the bumper. We haven't done this install at the shop, so we don't have any guidance on trimming the limited bumper cover, sorry.
Q
Todd Walton • 03/17/2023, 7:21:46 PM
Can this bumper be used for flat towing my 4Runner
A
03/30/2023, 2:59:46 PM
Sure, we recommend using a tow bar that has D-ring attachments and connecting your safety chains directly to the frame for an additional layer of safety.
Q
Matt • 03/27/2023, 10:01:06 PM
Old Q&As show that this will not fit a the 2010-2013 era 4runner's, but I see that an update was possibly coming in 2021 and now it's listed to be compatible with 2010+. Would this product now fit a 2012 Trail model? Thanks!
A
03/30/2023, 3:30:05 PM
Yes, it does fit your model, check the video for instructions on how to cut and install. We are going back and deleting those old Q&As now. Thanks for letting us know.

Every aspect of this bumper is excellent!!
2022 4Runner TRD PRO
Order: easy and received 10% veterans discount.
Manufacture time: 74 days, was emailed every month with a status update, worth the wait.
Shipping: foam and plastic wrapped on a pallet in perfect condition with NO missing parts.
Install: cutting measurements were exact, used a laser line, I did NOT remove the plastic bumper cover to access and remove the stock bumper. I just insured I wouldn’t cut any wires and went for it, skipping that step, then removed the stock metal bumper. (At your own risk)
Used a 3/8” edging trim to finish off the plastic parts.
Bolted on with ease.
Sensor and front camera still work. (NO guarantee)
Super strong with great powder coating.
Fantastic bumper!!!!!

My bumpers looks great! I get so many compliments! You'll get quality products when you order from Victory!! Thanks again!
Gerardo (New mexico) | May 8th, 2020
I'm very happy with the strike bumper I purchased. Video install instructions are pretty right on. My biggest complaints are to do with the long lead time (before covid-19) and the cost/process of shipping. When I placed the order I had no idea what shipping, was going to cost me. I was contacted with a shipping quote after two weeks of the order being placed. The price of which was quite a shock $240, I believe it was. After that the process went on smoothly

Overall I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the strike bumper on my 21 ORP. I had read some reviews of people having issues with theirs not being able to center properly but I had zero issues in that regard. Love that I can fit a warn evo 10s even with the TSS sensor without relocating the control box as well. My one gripe with the bumper has to do with the fog light mounting. While it works and gives a lot of adjustment there is no way to not have a massive gap at least on one side of the light pod if you try and push your light as close as possible to the font and it makes it look a bit unfinished imo (the stock photos show it as well).
Please note: Install videos are meant to be used as a guide, and aren't always the most up to date information on product installation and improvements.
Please be sure to read the PDF installation instructions as well.
