Q Steve Cesnik • 11/25/2020, 6:28:08 AM I just ordered your 5th Gen Strike rear bumper. I have exclusively used Baja Designs lights on my build and wanted to know if the Squadron 3x3 lights will line up with your cut out mounts . Thank you!
A 11/25/2020, 2:45:55 PM You may need to space the lights up slightly, but we have ran BD lights in our builds.
Q Jason • 12/04/2020, 6:18:23 PM Recommend a brand or link for the bumper cube lights?
A 12/09/2020, 4:56:08 PM Check our our offering from Baja Designs https://www.victory4x4.com/product/5578XX.html
Q Jaaon • 12/05/2020, 2:00:23 AM Is there a rear camera solution available?
A 12/09/2020, 4:56:08 PM Yes, see this product: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/LPRLC2.html

A 01/15/2021, 6:07:12 PM The bumper itself does not. Adding a carrier would require using our camera relocation bracket. https://www.victory4x4.com/product/LPRLC2.html
Q Anthony • 01/28/2021, 1:58:06 AM Im noticing that theres no image without the powder coating. With the pics shown, the dark paint, is that the coating or is the bare metal ? just want to make sure thanks
A 02/02/2021, 1:37:13 PM The bare metal option is just unfinished, raw metal.
Q MattyC • 02/12/2021, 8:38:33 AM I have a gobi ladder on the driver's side, would it work with the dual swing arms?
A 02/15/2021, 12:52:47 PM No they won't.
Q Sirena • 02/13/2021, 1:19:01 PM Is the Strike bumper compatible with the Gobi ladder? Thanks!
A 02/15/2021, 1:16:04 PM Without a swing carrier on the ladder side, yes.
Q Matt • 03/04/2021, 7:30:04 PM Is this a DIY bumper? Will I have to weld it myself or put it together myself?
A 03/05/2021, 10:10:45 AM This bumper comes fully fabricated, either in bare metal or powder coated!
Q Cash • 03/10/2021, 0:56:08 AM Any plans for an angled tire mount?
A 03/11/2021, 9:52:54 AM No plans for one at this time.
Q Ray • 03/11/2021, 8:43:12 PM Any reason this would not work on Limited edition? (rear bumper is different. Will trimming / match work?)
A 03/16/2021, 3:46:53 PM We have not verified trimming of a limited at the shop. In theory it would fit, but we have no guide on trimming the rear plastic, or official verification.
Q Tim Phalen • 03/23/2021, 4:47:19 PM I have ordered both front and back strike bumpers. Been studying the rear video. The gap between the back bumper and body appears to be 1/2inch or so. Any reason you cant cut it to get 1/8-1/4 inch for a less noticeable gap??
A 04/02/2021, 1:31:55 PM You can cut it as tightly as you like. Just know that the frame and body do flex somewhat independently and the gap will change depending on load and flex of the suspension.
Q John Haller • 03/24/2021, 9:00:22 AM So this keeps the OEM bumper reinforcement and goes over it, correct? Also if you're mounting the tire carrier what do most people do with the tire chain underneath the vehicle? Does it just wind up higher to stay in place?
A 04/02/2021, 1:31:55 PM These bumpers bolt directly to the frame, the factory bumper supports are removed, no cutting of the frame is required however. You can either zip tie up the factory tire chain hoist, or remove it entirely.
Q Jamie Diaz • 04/30/2021, 2:29:35 PM It might have been asked before, but are there any plans to do a rear bumper with an aluminum skin and steel internal structure like the Blitz sliders?
A 05/05/2021, 1:00:12 PM No plans at this time.
Q Scott • 05/10/2021, 2:27:39 PM I have 1" body lift, what fitment issues could I expect to encounter with this bumper?
A 05/12/2021, 2:29:21 PM The bumper would still fit on the frame, but you would need to take in account the body lift for all of your cuts. You would have a 1" gap between the body and bumper alongside the bottom of the hatch that you may need to dress up with something to look right.
Q Ivan • 05/31/2021, 3:58:14 AM I assume the bumper is for only non-limited models. I know someone ask this question earlier but have you now verified if the fitment is correct? Thank you
A 06/04/2021, 10:30:55 AM We haven't gotten any customer feedback on anyone that has tried this, sorry.
Q Joseph Vallier • 06/03/2021, 12:23:56 PM Can you mount the Victory ladder with the hi-lift, rotopax, max trax option on the left carrier and spare on the right carrier?
A 06/04/2021, 10:57:43 AM It will all mount, but the hilift in the way may make it difficult to use the ladder.
Q Sean • 06/23/2021, 11:24:56 AM will the RiGd Supply Ultraswing work with this bumper ??
A 06/25/2021, 12:13:22 PM We haven't tested that. It would be easier and cleaner to run our Adventure Carriers.
Q Josh • 07/16/2021, 9:45:09 PM I have a 3" leveling kit on my 4runner,. Would I need to swap factory shocks/springs to accommodate the added weight to prevent the back from sagging down?
A 07/23/2021, 11:15:25 AM We can't say for sure. With our rigs loaded down with two carriers and gear, we typically run higher capacity rear springs.
Q Alexander • 08/19/2021, 3:42:40 PM Does it comes with the Tire carrier? I dont see any option to add it in the product page.
A 09/02/2021, 12:29:40 PM It does not come with the carrier, see this product to add it: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VAC.html
Q Matt • 08/28/2021, 2:19:49 PM Would adding this bumper interfere with the rear park assist sensors?
A 09/02/2021, 3:54:08 PM We don't have provisions for models equipped with parking sensors on this bumper.
Q Terry • 10/15/2021, 10:18:17 AM If you run one (or 2) swingouts with table/fuel/water/hi-lift but NO TIRE does it still block license plate and camera. I do not want to relocate camera and license plate. I plan on keeping spare under and running no swingouts daily - just adding swingouts for trips.
A 10/18/2021, 4:32:44 PM The factory camera is offset to the driver's side. You could run a passenger side carrier (no tire) without it interfering with the view too much. A driver's side carrier would likely block most of the view. Two carriers would block a good portion of the license plate.
Q Gilbert Walker • 12/07/2021, 8:51:54 AM Does this include the tire carrier or is that an add on like the LH swingout?
A 12/07/2021, 11:21:31 AM The Adventure Carriers are sold separately, look for it in the related products below!
Q Brian Jordan • 02/08/2022, 12:42:41 PM What size are the cutouts for the cube lights ?
A 02/09/2022, 12:48:17 PM They are 3"x3"
Q Tim Padget • 02/09/2022, 10:36:52 PM Any issues on models with blind spot monitors/cross traffic alert system? Working on building out a '22 TRD Off Road Premium.
A 02/11/2022, 2:15:17 PM The 200 Series has had this system, and the sensors are above the cut line of the rear bumper, so they remain behind plastic. EDIT* The sensors on the 4Runner are lower (halfway behind the Strike bumper) so they will not work without relocation.
Q Bill • 04/28/2022, 10:41:03 PM Do the LED 3x3 cube lights work on the rear bumper as break lights. I am looking to wire the cubes into my break lights so they light up. It seems like I need a different cube than the ones here?
A 04/29/2022, 11:05:16 AM You could wire them that way, we usually wire them to the reverse light or to a switch instead.
Q Ryan Diedrich • 05/20/2022, 6:18:34 PM Has there been any development in accommodating or relocating the BSM sensors for 2022+ 4Runners installing the Strike rear bumper?
A 05/25/2022, 10:01:09 AM We do not have a solution to accommodate the 22+ sensors at this time.
Q Michael Maier • 06/09/2022, 8:39:32 AM What is the tow rating on the hitch?
A 06/09/2022, 4:25:37 PM Please see the product description.
Q Jacob Tubbs • 08/21/2022, 6:56:33 PM Can I get this rear bumper without the light cut outs?
A 08/22/2022, 6:09:31 PM We do not offer the bumper without cutouts.
Q Kaitlyn • 09/26/2022, 0:09:21 AM Any future plans for 2021 rav4 bumpers?
A 09/27/2022, 9:52:08 AM We do not currently have plans for bumpers.
Q Bryer Modlin • 11/25/2022, 2:59:48 PM Ad doesn’t say it comes with any carriers, but the pictures show them. Does the bumper come with any carriers or are they all add ons?
A 12/01/2022, 10:38:33 AM Carriers are purchased separately.
Q JA • 04/06/2023, 11:34:57 AM Is it possible to fit the dual jerry can and hi-lift mount on a single swing arm (i.e., spare tire on one swing arm, and a hi-lift and dual jerry can on the second swing arm)? Thanks.
A 04/17/2023, 7:24:12 PM They will not both bolt on the same swing out together no. You could do a single jerry can mount and a hi-lift: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/UNI-SJC.html

5th Gen Rear Bumper
(TX) | September 30th, 2021
Excellant product, pretty simple install other than having to cut the plastic! But if you take your time, tape it off and re-measure a few times you should have no problems. The tool I used to do my cutting was a Dremel, super easy at low speed follow the tape line then turn it up a notch to cut. The you tube video says down 5 inches, but I should have gone 5 and half inches and 2 around the back for a tighter fit. Does not look bad as it is, but that's what I should've done.
A bit disappointed
(NC) | May 26th, 2021
I like that the bumper is really modular, and you can add as you need. This is a big reason why I ordered this bumper. The install vids seemed straightforward enough, but it did not go nearly as smoothly it should have. None of the holes lines up, so there was a ton of jostling, and prybars required to get all the nuts and bolts together. Additionally, the rear plate with the "victory logo did not fit, nor did the screws that were supposed to hold it. I had to grind part of the edge off the logo piece, and tap all the bolt holes for the fasteners to get it to work. Once installed, everything is ok, although the bumper does sit atad off to one side...tired of messing with it. Lastly, the hundreds of dollars worth of powder coat has begun to chip off...hasn't been hit, banged, dropped or anything, just started flaking off.
Note From Victory 4x4: We are sorry to hear about the install issues. If you are still having problems, please contact our tech support team. The holes should be lining up on the install.
Couldn’t be happier
(Knoxville TN) | May 3rd, 2021
So the install went way smoother than I could have imagined the only major hood back we had was getting a third set of hands to push down the trim piece for the rear hatch. After that everything was easy peezy. All the holes lined up perfectly with a little shift here or there. One thing I don’t believe Darryl mentions in the video is how far in to cut which I wish he had because I over cut and have some gaps but luckily I had some wide edge trim that filled those sections. With the install video almost memorized we had the main bumper installed within about an hour. Then we took it back off trimmed just a hair more and back on. I don’t know if having a brand new truck helps but I didn’t need to pry my exhaust I just pulled down and out and it popped right off the rubber isolator. Powder coat looked great. I did have one spot that looked like it happened during shipping but I can live with it and will just hit with some flat black paint. It’s armor after all in about a year I’ll probably have to take it all back off and re paint or powder it again knowing my luck. All in all if you’re looking for an awesome sexy bumper that will no doubt take a beating. You found it. And you don’t have to wait a year to get it. (Although when Corey reminded me business day instead of actual days he did get me in the feels). All in all another outstanding product from victory and can’t wait to put it to the test.
Love this unit

Very clean look and functional. Got multiple accessories with it as well. No regrets and would highly recommend to others.
Bumper install review
(Colombia) | March 23rd, 2021
Good evening, I ordered my rear bumper without any swing arms to start. The delivery was on schedule and the item arrived perfect without any damage. When installing I noticed various things that were not clear on any video or duering the pruchase information. First of all the contact points at the rear of the bumper did not allign with the original position, this due that the holes where higher then original. Had to adjust and make holes bigger. Aditionally the mud flaps do not adjust to the new bumer, this creates an image of a section as incomplete but this is not covered in the install video. The plate with the Victory Logo did not allign corectly for the bolts to go in so drilling was required. The 3X3 cube lights is not mentioned in the video but the space is not flush, this creates a problem on choosing which light.. I ended up adding a light mounted externally in order to cover the hole completely but aditional holes had to be made in order fot the install. Overall i like the bumper and feel it looks great on the car but things would have been much easier with more information.
Excellent fit. Excellent Customer Service. Will be using Victory 4x4 products for a long time.

2015 4Runner Trail Premium Installed the Strike bumper w/ dual Adventure Carriers, Tire mount, Dual Jerry Can Carrier, and Ladder for Adventure Carrier. I must say that with the help of the install videos, the install was a breeze. My shipment arrived in a timely manner even during the whole COVID-19 deal. Was extremely well packaged. All powder coated components were perfect. Not blemish that I could find. Don't know how to post pics. Anyway, great company. Great service. Great products. Buy with confidence. You will not regret it.
