We've had 375ish up there to see how it flexes and it seems to be just fine. We don't have any long term testing on this, nor do we know how this will affect the hatch. The capacity of this rack would be at your own discretion.

You will need to clean the spoiler area and remove the coating for the adhesive to adhere well.

We include two upper brackets for the 4th gen to accommodate models with or without the spoiler.

Works great, extremely sturdy and rigid, fitment and design are excellent. Fits well with the full roof rack. Only gripe was the install - needed to install the bottom plate first in order to get it flush with the hatch so it could close. additionally, the recommended hatch lift supports on the Q&A section are incorrect. From that same company, you will want part #PM3489 for the correct additional weight lift support (for 244lbs)

Overall impressed with the quality. The ladder itself has a pretty killer looking design. However, the top plate moves forward and contacts the body. I reinstalled it with fresh 3m tape and got some touch up paint applied but it began to do the same thing shortly after. Regardless I am still very happy with the purchase.
Note From Victory 4x4: Paul, please reach out to our team and we can help troubleshoot. The 3M VHB should be holding it, is it slipping on the paint or on the rack itself? You my have some wax residue on the paint that is limiting the bond.

This ladder is well made, installs easily and is a fab addition to my 4Runner. My only complaint....getting it out of the box with the injected styrofoam took longer than the install. No joke. It shipped well but sucked getting it out of the box. You should have seen the mess. Lol You won’t be disappointed with the ladder, once out of the box

like others Have said the tape is under par for me after initial install the 1st step the latter moved side to side the top bracket Can be designed a little better to grip the hatch at an appropriate angle I also recommend dumping the provided tape and getting automotive double sided and he sieve strips. When you order your ladder order the heavy duty struts as well. Over all you can't be the pricing and the quality of the product I'm very happy with the and will enjoy it for some time

Let me start with the good stuff because it far outways the bad. The look with my SS Offroad rack is exactly what I was going for. The powder coating was nice fully coated and smooth. The welds were flawless, and the directions were perfect. Now for the bad, while the engineering "hooked and taped" plate is a solid idea (just like the Gobi ladder) the 3M tape is definitely not the right tape. USE 3M AUTOMOTIVE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE (Black with red peel from auto store). I will have to uninstall my ladder today (the day after initial install) in order to place automotive 3M tape. W/O using quality tape the top plate will slide and pinch in the top when the trunk lid is opened. I will also apply 3M tape between all contact points to ensure full secured contact. Lastly, I would advice using some clear sealer for the drilled holes in the bottom of the trunk lid to protect from leakage. Hope this Helps! LOVE THE LADDER! HATE THE TAPE!
