¹ Concessions have been made for extra ground clearance and a sleek appearance and you will need to adjust your equipment accordingly. Depending on your setup this may mean longer drop hitches, wiring extensions, etc...

² Designed to support the loads of the factory tow capacity, but carries no SAE certification, nor is it designed to meet any DOT or FMCSA regulation.
We produce these products in a low volume compared to the OEMs or aftermarket receiver hitch companies. As such, it's not feasible for us to get this product tested against SAE J684 specifications or design it meet specific DOT or FMCSA regulations. So while we try to over-engineer our products with the loads of the factory vehicle capacity in mind; towing a trailer on public highways is at your own risk and we make no claims on the legality or viability of doing so. We cannot offer any recommendations on capacity beyond this. If the ratings of the factory receiver hitch are important to you, we would recommend choosing a bumper that keeps that in place.

Q Keith Newton • 06/08/2020, 7:05:04 PM Parking assist and/or passing sensors wont work with this will they?
A 06/10/2020, 4:43:34 PM Parking sensors do work, blind spot monitoring does not.
Q Jon Parsons • 08/06/2020, 2:40:35 PM Can you make this in aluminum for the 2006 Tacoma and is there a high clearance option that wraps to the bed?
A 08/11/2020, 5:22:43 PM Nothing that wraps around the bed yet for a 2nd gen. We also only make this in steel at this time.
Q Jack Thomas • 10/15/2021, 11:12:52 PM Can I keep the factory hitch in place? If not, What makes it so I can't keep the factory hitch in place?
A 10/18/2021, 11:38:18 AM You can not. The bumper was designed to be higher clearance than the factory bumper & hitch. A hidden hitch is built-in to the Rear Strike Bumper.

Awesome!!!

Awesome design and looks awesome. Pictures online do no justice. Only issue I had, and not a big one, was loosening the bed bolts and pushing the bed towards the cab to give more room to mount up. I didn’t use the trailer setup but all the holes line up perfect so I see no reason why it wouldn’t be solid.
