Rack sits 2.5" above the highest point of the roof (center point).
We recommend using paint protection film under the front and rear fairings, where they contact the vehicle. This will prevent dirt and debris from scratching the paint over time.

Sure, we recommend using surface mount lights as nothing readily fits in the current holes. Many small rock lights come with angle mounting brackets. Those would work well.

Can weight be placed on the light bar attached to this rack without any problems?
Additionally, does the TACOMA BED RACK MODULAR BASE line up with this rack so one would be able to use it for hauling something flat? Or would there need to be additional steps taken for that?

That really depends on the strength of the light and if it sticks above the rack rail surface at all. Our full-height bed rack is lower than the roof rack, but adding our universal cargo basket on top of the bed rack will make them similar heights.

Around 38lbs. Toyota rates the Tacoma roof with a factory rack at "Max load 100 lbs evenly distributed." Our rack itself can handle significantly more weight than that, and we've had 200lbs dynamic weight on it without issue, static capacity is certainly well above that. We've had customers install RTTs on cab racks, and the rack itself can support the weight. You would likely be above Toyota's recommended capacity on the roof however (150lbs) so this would be at your own risk.

I assembled the roof rack perfectly and placed it on my roof today. while I am driving down the street the front fairing makes a horrible rattling sound from the wind passing under it. I have it as low as it can go almost touching the roof of the truck with the weather stripping on it but the wind still gets under it. how can I stop the noise?

2016 TRD Double Cab - any suggestions on the from four factory holes? during installation of the roof rack, none of the bolts screwed in all the way. now just a giant gap between the head of the bolt and the mounts. there's nothing blocking the holes and the rear and middle bolts tightened all the way. Got any other bolts for those?

The worst the under rack crossbar clearance gets is in the center of the roof and it's about .750", It gets near 2" as you get to the outside edges of the rack. Let us know if we can help with any other measurements.

Got this yesterday and installed it today. Was a little confusing with the difference size bolts and no instructions but I figured it out. Love the look and it is very strong. Highly recommend. Would love for them to have a rack that will fit a leer camper top.

Love this rack. It was the first item I’ve bought from Victory 4x4 and if all their gear is as sturdy and well constructed I will certainly be buying more from them. If you’re in doubt on the quality of this rack, don’t be. It’s worth the money. The install was straight forward. I would only recommend having a grinder or cut off wheel to cut the weather trim that you pull from the roof. Honestly that was the hardest part of the whole install. Their customer service was also great. Prior to ordering, I had several questions and they were always quick to respond and were very helpful. Love the product and love the company!

I love the rack......however, I wish the front cross bar was a little further back, the cut out was a little larger (41-42") and the LED light mounting brackets were a litter longer. The reason I am saying all of this is because I bought a KC Hilites (40") and it is a little too deep to fully adjust the angle of the light. If the cut out was a little wider and the brackets were a little longer, it would be easier to adjust the angle of the light bar....as it is now, the back of the KC LED light bar touches the first cross bar and the cut out is a little too tight.

I love this thing. The instruction video put out by Victory 4X4 was perfect. I followed it to a tee and I did all alone. Granted they will tell you to not do it by yourself as far as lifting on the roof, but I solved that with towels to protect the roof and carefully set it where it belonged. It looks great with the light bar and the High lift jack on it. I do wish it was easier to put the slide bolts on all rails. But maybe they can come up with a design in the future that solves this. Bottom line, you'll love it.

Assembly and install is straight forward and simple. We just watched the video as we went and everything went exactly as shown. Fitment is spot on and it perfectly matches all of the body lines. Packaging was meticulous so nothing was damaged in shipping. Light bar bracket worked perfectly for the slim 38" I put on it. Wind noise is almost nonexistent and they include the noise reducing trim some other companies charge extra for. The edges around the laser cuttings did have some burrs but it's not enough to detract from the overall quality. Definitely recommend this rack and will be buying other products from Victory in the future.

I recently purchased this rack and it’s fantastic with one exception. The build quality is fantastic went together easy but the edges of the left and right sides were not filed down before powder coating so they are somewhat sharp and cannot really be fixed. Other than that though it’s a fantastic product! Would definitely recommend it and definitely plan on buying other products from Victory4x4.

Went back and forth between the Victory 4x4 and the Prinsu roof racks. 100% happy that I chose Victory. All the aluminum is finished nicely with very tight tolerances making assembly and install a breeze. My light bar also mounted with ease. I recommend this rack to a lot of people! Victory did it again! I have a some other victory products and the roof rack is just as good as all the rest. The rack took longer to put together then it did to for me to bolt to the top of my rig.
