- This roof rack system allows for mounting almost anything, freeing up valuable cargo space for other trip essentials. Comes coated with a 2 stage satin textured black powdercoat over durable zinc primer finish.
We recommend using paint protection film under the front and rear fairings, where they contact the vehicle. This will prevent dirt and debris from scratching the paint over time.

While our rack itself can handle more, officially from Subaru: "The Crosstrek has a roof rail capacity of 700 pounds when the vehicle is parked on a level surface. That means that the tent and the occupants inside it can’t weigh more than 700 pounds. At speed, the Crosstrek has a roof rail capacity of 176 pounds, meaning that the tent – when stowed and at speed – has to weigh less."

Will this fit on a 2014 Subaru GP Chasis 5 door hatchback Impreza? I believe they're very similar to the first gen crosstrek.

Do you have a recommended 40" light bar to use with this rack?

Our racks are relatively universal in that aspect, most 40 inch single row bars will fit as long as they are within our listed dimensions. If you are looking for an option, we've found the Baja S8 to work well.

Let's start off by saying , out of the box, it was well protected! Once out of the box pretty simple on assembling it together , you'll have to download the instruction or just watch the video they provided on their website, pretty neat instead of looking on YouTube to find someone else installing it. This roof rack used the same hole placement that the original OEM Rack gets bolted down to. Pretty much I've had it on for 2 months now, here in California there as been a lot of rain and NO rust has appeared, not even the area where the hardware is at! Which is awesome, no need to worry about that! I also bought the awning brackets & the center molle for my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek , which are awesome products as well !! Customer Service was great as well, had a simple question about the front portion of the rack, eventually I may want to get a light bar, since you have an option to get the light bar cut or not, you can actually order that totally separate but would have to contact customer service for it, since they don't show it on their website. Overall a great company and their products are GREAT!
