Q Bob • 03/25/2020, 9:08:09 PM Can you tell me the capacity of the rack, while driving and parked. Ty
A 04/06/2020, 1:46:00 PM Toyota rates the 4Runner roof with a factory rack at "Max load 165 lbs evenly distributed." Our rack itself can handle significantly more weight than that, and we've had 250 lbs dynamic weight on it without issue, static capacity is certainly well above that. All these weight will be at your discretion as they are above Toyota "recommended" capacities. If you need more information please contact us directly at [email protected]
Q Jordan • 03/26/2020, 8:46:22 AM How does the factory factory rail length work out with roof top tents or 270 degree awnings? Will most accessories work with the rails such as bicycle fork mounts?
A 04/17/2020, 5:09:59 PM Both lengths racks work great with all of those things. The full length rack just gives you room for more than a standard size RTT.
Q Jonathan Stein • 04/02/2020, 1:08:29 PM Do you need to use your cross bars to install? If so, how many cross bars for half and full rack?
A 04/06/2020, 2:43:37 PM The 3/4 rack comes with 5 bars, the full length comes with 8. Yes, the rack is designed around our specific cross bars.
Q AARON M LUCAS • 04/07/2020, 1:06:40 AM If I wanted to order the lightbar cutout front fairing after the fact, could I?
A 04/17/2020, 5:09:59 PM You would have to call us, but yes it is available separately.
Q BRANDON • 04/07/2020, 4:16:59 PM WOULD THIS BE COMPATIBLE WITH A SMITTYBILT OVERLANDER TENT? OR WOULD THERE BE A WAY TO GET A RACK MADE SO THAT THE CROSSBARS ARE EVEN WITH THE SIDE RAILS FOR THE TENT TO SET LEVEL?
A 04/17/2020, 5:09:59 PM That tent mounts pretty universally, so it should fit fine.

We received the roof rack and started the install. Once we got to the step to mount it to the roof, we opened the packaging to find they hadn't sent 1 of the 4 mounts you use to secure it to the roof. Called throughout the day on Friday, and no one answered. I finally got a hold of someone on Monday, and expressed the obvious frustration that they would miss shipping an important part. They said they wouldn't overnight the part to me because it was too expensive, but they'd do 2 day shipping. Then, I got a call later in the day that if I wanted to have it shipped 2 day, I would have to pay for shipping. I called back and was told "mistakes like this happen, the guys probably just missed putting it in the package and it's not something we are going to cover the cost of sending that quickly to you". To get this installed, I had to take PTO from work, and drive 5 hours round trip, yet they wanted me to pay for the shipping a part they were supposed to send in the first place. The missing part resulted in having to cancel a camping trip, since I couldn't install the roof top tent on the roof rack. The customer service rep was completely apathetic about the whole thing. Be warned, they don't have anything in place to make sure all the parts are in the package prior to shipping. I would return this in a heartbeat if I wasn't going to be charged a re-stocking fee. If you're looking for a roof rack, I would absolutely look for another company to buy from.
Note From Victory 4x4: We apologize for the mis-shipment and confusion on overnight shipping. If there is anything else we can do, please feel free to reach out.

I was recently in a car accident and a pole fell and crushed my entire roof and roof rack system. The auto body guy informed me that if I hadn't had a roof rack on my car, chances were that the pole would've fallen through and crushed me. I'm grateful for a company that creates a sturdy and reliable product. Today I just purchased another roof rack from them for the new 4runner! STOKED! Highly recommend!

Just installed my Standard Length on my '16 TP. The install is very easy, took maybe 30 min to assemble in my living room and about that to get it all bolted down and ready to use. I would recommend using a tap on the crossbars, I did on mine and know it helped. Mine had some powdercoating inside, easy and no risk of cross threading. Overall, I like it! Very much looking forward to rooftop storage and camping.

Quality product, fast shipping and excellent customer service. The rack looks great, built from quality materials and is super modular. Very happy with it.

I bought this rack for a 5th gen 4runner to replace the factory rack and install a rooftop tent. The shipping was fast, install was super easy and I love the rack! It fits my Yakima Skyrise tent no problem.

This rack was straight forward and easy to install. Just make sure you have someone to help you lift it into place, I did it by myself and it was a huge pain in the butt. My other word of warning is, if you have a sunroof you will get some turbulent air that creates vibration noise in the sunroof assembly from time to time. Depending on wind speed and direction of coarse, but its definitely not a deal breaker.

Super happy with my roof rack. But upon receiving there were a few spots that were damaged. Like, gouges through the powder coat. I expected a higher quality powder coat Also may be something I didn't do correctly but the front fairing doesn't even come close to touching the body.

I was looking for a good full length rack and narrowed it down to Victory & 1 other choice. I'm pumped I chose Victory. This roof rack came packaged well, is well built, sturdy, easy to install and fits the body of my 4runner perfectly. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to do the install, once it was all tightened up it's really solid. Living in Colorado we do alot of camping & are going to use the heck out of this thing. Really excited for the summer. Thanks to the Victory family for providing such a well made affordable option!

It is nice looking and affordable rack. Installation was fairly easy. They totally cheap out by making you buy black hardware if you don’t want the silver hardware, and then the blackout kit doesn’t even convert all the bolts to black, whhich then requires painting. Now the rack. It comes with darn near no attachments. All the attachments. If you look at Rhino rack, these have like .2 of the options for mounting gear. There are also no t slide bolts that they sell other than these small ones for massive mounting plates, leaving you to go to Amazon to try and find ones that fit- difficult. Then there are the aluminum slides themselves. They are very finicky. There are two very small slides side by side. I might prefer one beefier slide that is a more universal T-slot size than two that are a PITA to try and get a bolt that fits. All in all, I think these guys a filling a niche of those of us who don’t want to/can’t pay for a nicer system. Their R&D team have come with nothing to the table to provide options for the buyer. Totally nice enough guys, but it seems like they haven’t fully committed to their product. If you want options, look elsewhere.
Note From Victory 4x4: To keep the cost low on a such a high quality rack we need to limit what gets sent with it. We leave these accessories up to the customer so they can buy exactly what they need for each situation as opposed to us kitting the rack with things you don't need and thus should not have to pay for. We hope you are happy with the quality and versatility of your rack, if not please feel free to contact us.

Purchased this roof rack on Black Friday, Got a good deal on an already well priced piece. It was delivered within a couple of weeks. I was very happy with the overall quality of the rack as well as the powder coating. Assembly and installation was a breeze with the help of a buddy and power tools. Sleek and simple look, very functional and reasonable wind noise. And no interference with the sunroof. Definitely would recommend. Only thing that would make this item any better would be additional cutouts and mounting points for side and rear light bars, though it is not a deal breaker. Full length w/ cutout 2017 4Runner Limited.
